CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A national jobs report came out Friday, the last one before voters head to the polls. It shows the economy added 171,000 jobs.

But the unemployment rate crept up to 7.9%. Jobs was one of the topics the 13th Congressional candidates talked about during a debate Thursday night.

Democrat David Gill, republican Rodney Davis and independent John Hartman are the candidates. Each had his own solution to create more jobs. If you missed Thursday's debate on WCIX, it re-airs Sunday on WCIA after the 10 pm newscast.
