Free film fest features Hackman's finest

CHARLESTON -- Another film festival is honoring an actor from Central Illinois. Gene Hackman's career is the focus of the Embarras Valley Film Festival.

It kicked off Thursday night on the EIU campus. It runs through Saturday. Fans can catch flicks like "Bonnie & Clyde," "Unforgiven" and "The French Connection." The best part? It's all free.
