First lights on Tree of Hope

CHAMPAIGN -- The first lights are now shining on the Tree of Hope. The Developmental Services Center kicked off its campaign Thursday.

It's the agency's largest fundraiser of the year. The center provides services for more than 1,300 children and adults with developmental disabilities.

This year's spokes-family is the McNamara's. They have two sons who received help from the center.

CHAMPAIGN -- The giving spirit is already in the air. The Developmental Services Center kicked off its annual Tree of Hope Campaign Thursday morning.

The first bulbs were lit on the tree at the corner of Prospect and Marketview. DSC provides services for more than 1,300 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
