Drought Monitor 10/18/12

Our drougth didn't change much in the last week, despite some rainfall.  However, the picture is much better than it was just a few months ago.  It should be noted that the data was collected Tuesday morning and the rain Wednesday night is not included in this report.  It will be included in next week's report.  You can get more on what the crought categories mean in our Weather 101 Section.  

Looking ahead, the 8 to 14 day forecast is looking to bring us near normal rainfall.
