suspectCHAMPAIGN - He may have been wearing a disguise, but police hope someone will recognize the man who stole money from a bank.  In Crime Watch tonight, police are looking for the man pictured to the left.  He's described as a white man about six-feet tall, 300 pounds with a large tattoo on his left arm.  The tribal symbol may be fake.  He was wearing a fake long blond wig and a gray beard.  The picture was taken by the bank's security cameras.  Champaign investigators say he walked  into Bank Champaign near Marketplace Mall Tuesday, October 14th.  He had a black bag and gave the teller a note.  He implied he had a weapon.  The suspect's getaway car may have been a white van or SUV.  If you recognize the man or have information about the robbery, call Champaign County Crimestoppers at 373-TIPS.  Or you may send in a text tip on your cell phone or a web tip.  Click here to give an on-line tip.  You don't have to give your name or testify in court and a reward is offered.
