floodPeople in Hensley say they've asked the Township for help on several occasions with the flooding in their neighborhood.

They say it's a year round battle with rainfall, or melting snow. Angie Jamison, a realtor says the flooding not only brings down the property value, but also limits what she can do in her own backyard.

She and her cousin Al Burwell, who also experiences heavy flooding say they've done everything they can think of to get help from the township. They say those attempts have been hit a brick wall.

Both say it brings up questions of health and safety. They say wild animals are coming closer to their homes, and mosquitoes are impossible to deal with in summer months.

They say they hope the township's Road Commissioner, Bob Sherman will step in, and help with the flooding soon. Sherman could not immediately be reached for comment.
