Ice Storm Warning

Updated: February 24, 2007

The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for Champaign, Vermilion, Piatt, DeWitt and McLean counties until 6:00 p.m. tonight. Freezing rain will develop across Champaign and Vermilion counties by 1 pm this afternoon. Ice accumulation of one quarter to one half inch is expected, especially on trees and power lines.
