CHAMPAIGN -- Dozens took time to make a special tribute to three of our own Olympic athletes. U.S. Olympians Tyler Mcgill and Gia Lewis-Smallwood and two-time Paralympian Nichole Millage were all honored Saturday.

Their names were added to Champaign's tribute to Olympic athletes. As kids, all three hoped to see their names listed.

"It's something that's gonna stay there forever. It doesn't show the work and time and support it takes to get your name here, but it represents all of that," said Tyler McGill.

Over the past 21 years, 39 athletes have been honored for their participation in the Olympic and Paralympic games.
