WARRENSBURG -- Parents in Macon County got some help making sure their kids are safe in the car. The police department and "Safe Kids" teamed up for car seat checks.

The inspectors checked if seats were in tight enough and taught parents how to put them in the right way. Plus, if a seat was on the recall list, families got a new one for free.
