University of Illinois basketball player Jamar Smith pleads not guilty to charges related to a crash last week.Smith was in court today. The state's attorney says Smith's lawyer moved up his arraignment by two hours to avoid the media. Smith is charged with hurting someone while driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. Police say Smith crashed his car into a tree hurting teammate Brian Carlwell. Smith will be back in court in April.
