CHAMPAIGN -- Robert came a long way from those days at Arcola High School. After several different career paths, which included being a deputy and working at a water plant, he finally found his passion for weather.

He started at WCIA-3 14-years ago. He loved his job. He loved being able to tell us what we needed to know and where to go when severe weather was coming our way.

But, he also never grew out of being a class clown, and always brought the funny, even on his darkest days. That was Robert, always making sure you were smiling.
