Man killed in crash

CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- A Danville man is dead after crashing his car. It happened Wednesday afternoon on I-74 just outside Mahomet.

Investigators say Kirk Melton died at the scene. No word yet how the crash happened. Traffic was rerouted for several hours.
