MAHOMET -- Fire Prevention Week continues for the Cornbelt Fire Protection District. Thursday is its open house. There will be free balloons food and truck rides for kids. Plus, of course, fire safety tips, like demonstrations on "stop, drop & roll," and how to use a fire extinguisher.
