CHAMPAIGN -- A very special visitor made the rounds to schools in the area. Swimmer Tyler McGill from the U.S. Olympic Team is showing off the gold medal the team earned.

He went to Central High School. He's back in town to be inducted in the school's Hall of Fame.

Wednesday, McGill stopped in Mahomet at Sangamon Elementary to inspire kids to go for the gold. He also stopped by Bottenfield Elementary so kids could see the gold medal up close.
