Woman makes sure your vote counts

CHAMPAIGN-- A woman is making sure you make it to the polls. Shawnee Hibler spent Tuesday walking around town, registering people to vote.

She stopped at the UI campus and Head Start. More than 250 people signed up and just in time. It's
the last day they can register.

That's just the first step. Hibler says she also plans to drive people to the polls on Election Day.

Thank you we need all the support we can get for this election. There are elderly, disabled and low income people with no way to get to the polls. Im looking for businesses or people to volunteer thier time driving people to early voting starting Oct 22nd up till election day Nov 6th.
