URBANA -- Work is underway on some brand new homes. These homes are for our furry friends.

Lowe's is helping build 15 doghouses at the Champaign County Humane Society by donating all labor and materials.

The Humane Society does not advocate keeping dogs outdoors 24/7, but organizers hope the homes will provide shelter for those who don't have it as the temperature drops.
