CHAMPAIGN -- Many people in our area are looking jobs. Some hoped to find help at a career fair Monday. People showed up to the Hilton Garden Inn about 2 pm. Everything was set up just inside the Illini Ballroom.

About a dozen employers set up booths for prospective workers. One Paxton mechanic hurt his arm and can't do the same job anymore. Now, he's looking for his next move.

Dozens of others of all ages were there too. There were a variety of different opportunities and opening to learn about; from manufacturing to technology to education. The job fair wraps up about 6 pm.
