CHAMPAIGN -- Summer may be over, but there's still time to enjoy the outdoors, including the area's newest park. Robert C. Porter Park was dedicated Thursday. It's now the first "natural area" park in the city.

It features a looping walking trail, 300-trees, a small shelter and a pond. The park cost more than $2-million to build. Champaign County paid for half.
