URBANA -- There's no better way to welcome fall than with a bowl of chili, and plenty of people were serving it up at the Annual Beer-Tasting Chili Cook-Off. People waited in line for gates to open Saturday afternoon.

People were also lining up for chili and beer through the afternoon and evening. A variety of professional and amatuer teams simmered batches of their best stuff.

Food and drinks from around the world were available. There were more than 150-different types of beer to taste. Not everyone came for the food. Some said they were just there to have a good time.
