Research center expanding

CHAMPAIGN -- A research center in our area is expanding thanks to federal grant money. Leaders at Diagnostic Photonics plan to take up more space at the M-2 Building downtown.

The company develops technology to help doctors evaluate patients during surgery. The grant money came specifically for the company's breast cancer research.
