Reaching Out for Answers, Disability Resource Expo

Updated: October 4, 2012
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- The 6th annual "Reaching Out for Answers, Disability Resource Expo," is scheduled to take place at Lincoln Square next weekend. Sponsored by the Champaign County Sheriff's Office, the expo is considered a valuable community resource for families and those with disabilities.

People can get support and services to help the disabled live the most independent life possible in the community. Local law enforcement authorities, people with METCAD and the Emergency Management Agency will all be on hand to discuss the "Premise Alert Program." It gives first responders crucial information for those with special needs.
