UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Police arrested two men accused of stealing from the UI library. Robert Taylor-Anderson and Davante Warnsby are both 19-years old.

Warnsby is also accused of identity theft. Police say they were former students, and one now attends Parkland.

A detective says the pair checked out a laptop and three video games from the library in August using another student's i-card. They were seen on surveillance video.

The items were never returned to the library. Police were tipped off when the student received an overdue notice. Investigators say they think the two were working together and planned to sell the stolen items.

Authorities say this is a good warning for people to keep track of their things. They think it's an isolated incident, but warn people to be careful since thefts can be common on campus.
