URBANA -- Some students got very special visitors Wednesday. Firefighters, police officers and paramedics stopped by Yankee Ridge Elementary. Carle's Air Life helicopter also dropped in.

It's all part of the school's Community Safety Day. Leaders wanted the kids to meet people who keep them safe everyday. They also learned how to keep themselves safe with lessons on fire safety and stranger danger.
