ALABAMA -- Robbery suspects running from police kill three people in a car wreck; all with ties to Urbana. This was the scene near Hanceville, AL, Monday night.

The suspects were leading police in a car chase when they rammed another car stopped at a light. The suspects fled the scene. A man, his wife and their 10-month old daughter died in the crash.

The couple's grandfather lives in Urbana. He got the news from a relative Tuesday morning.

"When he called, he said, 'I've lost my babies.' You've got to explain this. He said they've been killed. I said, 'how did they get killed?' He said, 'in a car wreck,'" said Richard Jones.

Police found one of the suspects hiding in a house. The other turned himself in. Investigators say they could face attempted murder charges.
