CHAMPAIGN COUNTY -- People have a new opportunity to fight crime and maybe even win a big prize. Crime Stoppers has a brand new program.

It's been so successful, members of the Board of Directors decided to raise money to pay tipsters. They're selling 365 raffle tickets from now through the end of the year.

Starting in 2013, they'll draw tickets to win cash. The money raised will help pay tipsters.

Just last year, tips helped solve more than 1,700 cases in Champaign County alone.

There are a limited number of tickets. Crime Stoppers hopes to raise $6,000.
