URBANA -- Video gambling proves to be popular for businesses in Illinois. So far eight locations are testing machines, including Third Base Tavern in Strasburg and American Legion Post 71 in Urbana.

More than 300 other locations could be online within the next few weeks. They have already been approved to get the machines while others are still waiting for their licenses.

In Champaign and Urbana, about 30-businesses have applied. More than 20 in Danville and Decatur want one, and there are more than 70 in Springfield.
