DECATUR -- If you're looking for a job, Richland Community College can help. It received $526,000 in funding from the federal government to train area welders.

Richland is one of 21-Illinois community colleges to split nearly $13-million. The government awarded the funds in response to a report stating the U.S. can't fill nearly 600,000 jobs due to a shortage of skilled workers.
