Flash Index shows slow recovery

UI -- The UI Flash Index shows a slower recovery than previous recessions. For September, it increased slightly from 102.9 in August to 103.2.
It's at its highest level since March 2008, but the pace remains sluggish. We're three years into the recovery from the 2007 - 2009 recession.
At similar stages following the past two recessions, the index was more than one-point higher.
