Donated phones serve dual purpose

SPRINGFIELD -- It's Domestic Violence Awareness Month and there's a way you can help victims. Lt. Governor Sheila Simon launched her annual cellphone drive Monday.

For each phone donated during the drive, Verizon Wireless will give $10 to the Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence. You can drop off old phones at Verizon Wireless stores year-round.
