CHAMPAIGN -- A former Illini football player has another win under his belt. Frank Lenti, Jr., can now call himself an Emmy winner. He won Saturday, but wasn't there to get it in person.

Lenti is a member of the Illinois Productions staff. His documentary highlighting the 2011 Camp Rantoul was the top submission in the Sports: One-Time Special Category.

But, he's not letting the honor get in the way of his other projects. The documentary was patterned after the Big Ten Network's "The Journey." 2011 was the second year Illini Productions made the series.
