CHAMPAIGN -- The Eastern Illinois Food Bank brought a new meaning to multitasking Saturday. It raised food for families in need while cheering on the Fighting Illini.

Volunteers were outside Memorial Stadium collecting food and money for 400,000 people. They were excited to see the turnout.

"You know it's really nice. We get a lot of donations it's great to see the community come together. It's something like the Illinois game. It's really really nice to see it," volunteer Melissa Zak said.

You can make donations until October 14, at several area businesses and schools.
