DANVILLE -- Construction continues on the Fairchild Overpass Project. The city is replacing the Fairchild Subway with an overpass. It's between Roger Street and Bowman Avenue.

The overpass will be a 1200' long structure including two bridges and retaining walls. Construction just began last month. Since then, crews have been drilling holes and pouring concrete; work that could be pretty loud for neighbors. So far, they don't have much too complain about.

Construction is set to be finished by May 2014. For more information, click here.
