URBANA -- A man's DNA put him behind bars. 21-year-old Justin Kennedy was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle Friday.

Police say he broke into a van in June, and they found his fingerprints all over the vehicle. Kennedy was already on parole for a 2009 burglary.

Comments

Please tell me our local reporters are intelligent enough to know the difference between DNA and a fingerprint. This article makes no sense at all. He was charged because a fingerprint was found, not DNA. Geez.
