Man faces charges of sexual abuse

MACON COUNTY -- A 24-year old Moultrie County man is accused of sexually assaulting a 35-year old Macon County woman.
The suspect was arrested Friday afternoon, about 1:30 pm. The victim reported the attack about 5:30 am after the suspect reportedly gave her a ride home from an area business.
Investigators say they found a potential crime scene, evidence, witnesses and a vehicle that may also be connected to the case.
The suspect's name has not been released because his bond has not yet been set. He faces charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, aggravated battery and unlawful restraint.
