UI's music legacy in Our Town

PARIS -- You may be surprised to learn Paris' Cooperative High School Marching Band has a lot in common with the music program at UI. It all started with just one man: A. Austin Harding.

Warren Sperry, who was band director for many years, joins us. Harding left a lasting legacy in Paris and the UI. The Harding Band Building was named after him.
