MAHOMET -- It's a busy stretch of road with a lot of potential. Our Town has a plan to help the village grow.

Leaders say County Route 150 is near more than 900 acres which could be developed. That development would help bring money into town.

There isn't a lot here right now; some farm land and fields. But, leaders say water and utility lines have already been laid and they're working on expanding Route 150 to three lanes.

All this work is expected to bring in business. Officials say the demand is there. They're getting calls from companies which will ultimately help the village grow.
