MONTICELLO -- Police want to know how a man ended up dead in a city parking lot. Someone driving by this morning, saw the body near the old city building on Charter Street.

Officials haven't released a name just yet and say there are no signs of foul play. An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on the 53-year old man in the next day or so.

MONTICELLO -- Police are conducting a death investigation. They're on scene near Charter and Marion where a body was discovered about 7:30 Thursday morning.

It was found in the parking lot of the old city building which was vacated about two months ago. Witnesses say they think the body is that of a man leaning against a wall.
