MAHOMET -- Village leaders are working to restore a piece of downtown history. Russell Park sits right in the middle of Our Town.

It's been around for decades, but the path was falling apart and it wasn't handicap accessible. Officials decided to rebuild it.

Crews already installed a better trail. Now, the community is raising money to finish the rest. It's going to cost another $15,000 to finish everything. Leaders want to have ti ready by spring.
