Springfield Fatal Fire

 An 86-year old man is dead after a fire in Springfield this morning. It happened around 6:30 am, in the 2800 block of Walnut. The man was asleep when the fire started, and got trapped before he could escape. His name is not being released at this time. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
