IROQUOIS COUNTY -- A Champaign man faces charges of criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint after an incident at the Lion's Den. It happened July 31, in rural Buckley.

Police say 34-year old Paul Zindars cornered a female manager in an office after purchasing something at the store. Zindars allegedly locked the door before assaulting the woman.

He was taken into custody by Paxton Police, Illinois State Police and the Ford County Sheriff's Department after fleeing the scene. The victim refused medical treatment. Zindars was released on bond Wednesday afternoon.
