5 Points mystery solved!

URBANA -- Not to far from here is arguably the city's busiest intersection, "5 Points." If you pass through it, you notice it only has four.

It's one mystery in Our Town Urbana. The intersection brings University, Cunningham and Vine streets together.

There used to be another roadway called Courtesy Avenue. The street connected Broadway and the intersection from the southwest.

Today, it's just a dead end. The road was closed in the early 1970's to make way for more businesses. Despite the intersection losing its 5th point, people keep its famous name alive.
