URBANA -- It's a unique place with plenty to see and do. WCIA-3's Cynthia Schweigert takes us on a road trip through Our Town Urbana.

Let's start on a Saturday morning at the Market at the Square. Smell that fresh produce, see local crafts, hear live music.

"It's the community being outside, just enjoying the outside and fresh produce and all of the other goodies that are here."

It's a weekly festival that's growing by the week near Lincoln Square. Across the lot, a community-owned grocery store. 3,700 people own a piece of this co-op. Much of the food here is locally grown.

"When we keep our money local in our local economy we control the destiny of our community. We enrich our community, we create great jobs, we create culture diversity. That makes it a place that people want to live."

A trek down Vine Street leads you to one of the gems of Urbana's Park District. Meadowbrook Park features a diverse array of prairie, play and gardening.

"It really is providing families with a little bit of joy."

All that running around could make you hungry. Urbana's got that covered too. This week you saw fine dining at Milo's and Robert went on the road to the city's newest pizza joint, Black Rock.

"Mmmmm. This looks good. Ooh. That IS really good. Mmm. Pesto."

The city is also bike-friendly, walk-friendly and tree-friendly. There's something for everyone in Our Town Urbana.
