Recipes Chocolate Lovers Hot Chocolate 2 cups chocolate milk 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 ½ tablespoons sugar 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate chunks 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract Whipped cream, optional Pour chocolate milk and cocoa powder into a saucepan and mix well; bring to a simmer and mix in sugar. Reduce heat to very low and add chocolate chunks, stirring occasionally until melted. Add vanilla extract. Pour into individual mugs and top off with whipped cream if desired. Makes 2 servings. Hot Chocolate Add Ins: - Add a spoonful of melted peanut butter for an irresistible combination - Use a cinnamon stick or peppermint stick as a stirrer to add some zing - Stir in a spoonful of raspberry preserve for a fabulous fruity concoction - Try a dash of hazelnut syrup for a rich nutty flavor Hearts Have It Cheese Tray Create a unique and healthful fruit and cheese plate to serve little (or not-so-little) "Valentines." Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out slices from a variety of favorite cheeses. Try cutting hearts of varying sizes and alternate white and yellow cheeses on a pretty plate. Serve with clusters of bright red and green grapes, cubes of pineapple, apple wedges or other fresh fruits. Add crackers and serve chilled "Pink Cows" - strawberry-flavored milk - for a fun and nutritious snack that says "I love you!" I Love You Shake 1 1/2 cups strawberry milk 1/2 cup frozen strawberries 1/2 cup yogurt Combine milk, strawberries and yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Makes 2 servings.
