February to be warmer than normal, but more active

Updated: February 4, 2013
Updated:  5:09 PM 2/4/13

A warmer than normal February is expected, but at the same time we're expecting things to stay active with more precipitation than normal.  That means that while the average may be above normal, we could still have some cold stretches due to the active weather.  Also, that means that we're not out of the woods yet on snowfall this winter.

Normally, in February, we expect high temperatures to be between 35 and 45 degrees along with lows in the 15 to 25 degree rangeLiquid precipitation total is usually around 1.5" to 2.5" with about 2.5" to 5" of snow.  You can click on each link above to get a city by city breakdown.
