Updated: June 17, 2012
A cold front slid through the Midwest Saturday night causing thunderstorms, severe at times, and some heavy rain for Central Illinois.
Unfortunately, even the 1+ inches of rain that were reported in several places is not enough to bring us out of the drought we have been sitting in this year. It certainly does help, though.

Beardstown, IL (Cass County) reported a total of 1.56" of heavy rain from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
Bloomington, IL (McLean County) reported a total of 1.06" of heavy rain from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
Danville, IL (Vermillion County) reported a total of 1.04" of heavy rain from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
Henning, IL (Vermillion County) reported a total of 1.18" of heavy rain from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
