Suspects Held for Trial

Updated: February 2, 2007
Court caseFour men from Tennessee charged with conspiracy to steal anhydrous ammonia to manufacture methamphetamine will stay in jail until their trials begin. James Brock, Mark Hayes, Mark Jacks, and Michael Vanover all appeared before a judge in federal court Thursday. The judge decided there was probable cause to hold them. Last month, the men allegedly tampered with anhydrous ammonia tanks at Illiana Seed. Two hazmat crew members were injured in the incident. The four men each face ten years in prison if convicted. An Assistant US Attorney says it's possible the men face more charges.
