A Chicago area man has pleaded guilty to ripping off the state to the tune of millions of dollars. The state estimates Manu Shahs engineering company overcharged I-DOT and other road builders more than 5 million dollars. As part of a plea agreement Shahs company will pay back the state for one count of wire fraud. Shah faces more than 3-years in prison.
