In Springfield, a delay in the case of two former state workers trying to get their jobs back is taking the case into overtime. Dawn Defraties and Michael Casey had hoped the case would wrap up at the end of the week. But today, a judge halted testimony after the state didnt produce job applications it says show Defraties and Casey gave special treatment to some applicants. Lawyers for both sides will meet Friday to figure out when testimony will resume.
