Thursday Will Be Warm And (Mostly) Dry

Central Illinois could be in store for the warmest day so far this year on Thursday as highs will jump into the middle to upper 80s and maybe even 90.  It will be a bit humid as well as dew points will be at or above 65.  That's the number in which the air can become uncomfortable.  Winds will also be a bit breezy at times with winds up to 25 mph possible. 

Late in the day, we'll have to watch for a small chance of t-storms along the Illinois River that you can see below.  There's a higher chance of t-storms on Friday.  We're already thinking that it could turn severe and you can get the latest on that in The Severe Weather Center
