Megan Brilley

Updated: October 2, 2012
Megan is a Central Illinois girl born and raised! She grew up in Decatur and couldn't be more happy to start her career as a reporter at WCIA. ''I love being able to cover stories in Decatur and Springfield. My heart is here.''

Megan graduated in 2010 from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. She got her start in news at SIUE's newscast, Global Village. ''To get to be a voice for people is a feeling I can't describe. It's the best part about being in this business.''

While at SIUE, Megan interned at KTVI in St. Louis. She became a reporter at WCIA in the summer of 2011. Before coming to channel 3, she was a producer for WICS.

In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family and friends.
